This stunning and impactful chandelier was handblown in Murano, Italy- the islands off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for their superlative glass production- in much the same way as they have been since the 1960s. They feature an abundance of polyhedral shades- in pale tones of olive, periwinkle and lemon- in a cylindrical drum form. The chandelier is suspended from a circular canopy via a cylindrical rod in polished chrome. With its timelessly elegant design, this chandelier would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. It accommodates six Edison based bulbs providing up to 600 watts of light. The height can be adjusted to suit.
