About

This handsome dining table was realized by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, where Wormley served as long-time director of design. Celebrated for his modern interpretations on Classic designs, this table embodies the timeless aesthetic for which he is renowned. Handcrafted from walnut at Dunbar's headquarters in Illinois, the table features a recessed depression under the top that traces the perimeter and square legs with corner edges that gently protrude forming rounded ridges. It has been hand rubbed, imbuing it with a soft luster. The table comfortably sits eight without the leaves in place, and 10-12 when fully extended. With its clean lines and beautiful hand rubbed walnut frame, this table is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, complimenting any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It is in mint restored condition. Signed "Dunbar" on the underside.
