Mid-Century Modernist Lacquered Goatskin, Glass and Macassar Dining Table

Mid-Century Modernist Lacquered Goatskin, Glass and Macassar Dining Table

6,475.00

This handsome Mid-Century Modernist table combines two interlapping organic forms. One is a demilune shape composed of Macassar with its Classic high keyed contrasting woodgrain reminiscent of tiger's eye gemstones. The other is a cloud-shaped form in a cream hue fabricated from lacquered goatskin. The two materials one with a subtle leather grain, the other teeming with striking texture- pair beautifully together. The goatskin form supports a circular glass top. This gorgeous table looks like Jean Arp's sensibility fused with American design of the 1970s- sexy, whimsical, and dynamic. It's an understated showstopper that will blend with practically any interior from Classic Mid-Century to contemporary. The glass top can be customized to whatever specifications the buyer desires. Excellent condition.
