About

This elegant Art Deco Machine Age floor lamp was realized in the United States, circa 1935. It offers a trumpet form shade in lustrous chrome, banded in its center by three tiers of cut glass. The rod is composed of black enamel with banded chrome details, that reiterate the ringed detailing on the shade. The skyscraper style base is made of black lacquer with a circular chrome support at its center from which the torchiere rod ascends. With its clean lines, superlative craftsmanship, and wonderful Machine Age detailing, this is a great collector's find for enthusiasts of Art Deco in America. It is also a timeless floor lamp that would be a stunning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition.
