About

This sophisticated pair of floor lamps were realized in the United States, circa 1935. They embody the Machine Age's influence on Art Deco design in America at its very best. Consisting of a skyscraper style base offering concentric circular forms of polished chrome with a black enamel center, this piece features a chrome rod and neck and a frosted glass shade. There is a translucent ball embellishment at the nape of the lamp's neck which is repeated near the base. The lower ball is encircled by a band, like a metal penumbra, in chrome. With their clean lines and modern materials, these floor lamps would be equally at home in any style of decor from classic Deco to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition.
