This show stopper Art Deco Style necklace by the renowned Artist Erte is a limited edition piece 64/250 . The necklace is called sophistication and the centerpiece is a flapper woman’s face in carved mother of pearl (an iconic Erte image) surrounded by a 14k white gold headdress that is incrusted with round brilliant cut diamonds. This piece also has 43 bezel set round cabochon cut onyxes . The head detaches into a brooch which is inscribed 14k and CFA sterling and Erte on the mother of pearl. A pair of custom designed pierced earrings set with 4 round brilliant cut diamonds and in 14k yellow gold and sterling designed to match are also included. The necklace is also fitted with a safety chain and clasp. This piece also included the original custom velvet box as well. Excellent Vintage condition.
