This exceptional Art Deco cabinet is designed by Gilbert Rohde for Herman Miller and features an open cabinet with a glass shelf for display of barware or accessories , the lower half has two cabinet doors quartered with book-matched walnut inlays with opposing grains. The pulls on this piece are clear sparkling plexiglass which was a very new innovation in 1939. This piece is documented in the 1939 catalogue of Gilbert Rohde designs for Herman Miller. The piece has been mint restored.
