French Art Deco Copper Hued Glass Pendant with Gilt Brass Fittings

3,475.00

This refined pendant was realized in France, circa 1930. It features a convex body, hand blown in copper hued glass, with geometric cubist motifs including spherical details and skyscraper style fan designs throughout. The glass shade connects to a tiered skyscraper style brass canopy via three chains in the same material. With its beautiful cubist details and warm copper hue (of a quality rarely seen outside of the period), this piece is sure to delight discerning Art Deco collectors. Its clean lines and geometric detailing also, however, make it as versatile as it is elegant, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Art Deco to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. It accommodates three candelabra based bulbs offering up to 180 watts of light.
