About

This striking chandelier embodies the clean and modern aesthetic of French Art Deco at its finest. Realized circa 1935, in the manner of Petitot, the chandelier offers streamlined ends realized in lustrous polished nickel that support a wealth of translucent glass rods. The fixture attaches to a circular nickel canopy via two cylindrical rods in the same material. Originally inspired by the form of a zeppelin, this piece appears as contemporary today as when it was created some 70 years ago. Consequently, it would be a winning addition to any style of decor from classic Deco to ultra modern. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
