Midcentury Brutalist Black Satin Faceted Steel and Brass Sconces by Maison Arlus

3,975.00

This stunning and graphic pair of Brutalist wall sconces were produced by the esteemed maker Maison Arlus in France, circa 1960. They feature faceted black satin steel bodies- reminiscent of the work of Felix Agostini- brass bobeches and cylindrical shades in bone fabric with a textural waft. These sconces embody the sophisticated verve, dynamism and understated beauty that discerning collectors of first rate French midcentury Modernism absolutely adore. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition.
