About

This rare and iconic Art Deco table lamp was realized by the fabled glass studio, Degue, in France circa 1930. It features a hexagonal base with a rod that expands towards its apex and features cubist foliate detailing at its top and the outer band circumscribing the base. The skyscraper style shade- in frosted and molded glass- offers a wealth of geometric patterns in relief. This is a stunning example of Art Deco design by one of the great lighting studios of the period. Like all timeless design, it would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards. The shade is signed "Degue France." Excellent vintage condition.
