This refined table lamp was realized in France, circa 1950. It features a subtly domed base finished in lustrous black enamel from which a curved chrome support ascends culminating in a undulating conical shade finished in a rich lemon cream enamel hue. The bulb is protected behind a wire enamel caging in the same tone, which serves as both a functional and aesthetic detail. With its clean modernist lines and vibrant (yet restrained palate), this table lamp would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition.
