This dramatic and graphic pair of torch cut brutalist Mid Century Modern table lamps were realized by the esteemed 20th Century designer Harry Balmer for the Laurel Lamp Company in the United States circa 1970. They feature cubic bases finished in black enamel from which a central rod ascends. A dynamic patchwork of braised black iron- the weld beads incorporated as a design element- surrounds the central rod of each lamp. With their sophisticated and unique form and monochromatic palate, these table lamps are as versatile as they are aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. The lamps come fitted with custom shades.
