This refined antique brass fire three piece tool set was realized by hand in France, circa 1900. The set is comprised of a shovel, fire tongs and poker that fit neatly into a central stand- all hand fabricated in polished brass featuring neoclassical designs throughout including lion's head motifs and foliate patterns. The tops of each piece are reeded and domed with ball finials at their apex. The bottom of the stand also features a hand hammered dappled design, testifying to the fact that no detail- no matter how small- was overlooked in its construction. With its beautiful attention to detail, and excellent craftsmanship, this fire tool set promises to beautify any style interior from traditional to contemporary. Excellent condition.
