This stunning pair of “Pulegoso” sconces were realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. They feature five cylindrical glass tubes handblown in Murano glass offering a subtle texture. They attach to a brushed brass frame with scalloped fittings and spherical fittings in the same material. With their clean modernist lines, these sconces would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. Each sconce accommodates two candelabra based bulbs offering up to 120 watts of light each.
