Pair of Art Deco Pendant Chandeliers in Molded & Frosted Rose Glass signed Degue
This alluring and materially exquisite Pair of Art Deco Pendant Chandeliers in Molded & Frosted Rose Glass are signed Degue and they originate from France, Circa 1930. Featuring a single rose hued molded glass shade with abstracted circular geometric motifs resembling flowers in bloom or expanding parachutes, brilliantly scaled to subtly overlap with one another and kiss the edges of the chandelier. Alternating sections of the geometric motifs have a frosted glass finish, creating a contrast in the diffusion of light and displaying beautifully the rose hue of the glass in the translucent sections of the surface. Hangs from three brass chains attached at equidistant points to the glass shade, then rising to a round tiered canopy. This Pair of Chandeliers will serve as a beautiful addition to a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, these fixtures accommodate three candelabra base bulbs casting up to 180 watts of light each. Signed "Degue" visible along the edge of the piece. In Excellent Vintage Condition. Height can be adjusted to suit.
