This stunning set of six Mid Century Modern dining chairs were realized by the Milo Baughman- one of the most celebrated American designers of the 20th Century- for Thayer Coggin in 1979. The chairs retain their original Thayer Coggin labels making them especially desirable for any serious collector of Mid Century design. Hand crafted in High Point North Carolina, this set of six dining chairs offers austere open form rectilinear polished chrome bodies and gently concave seats and backs. Not only are they absolutely stunning from all angles, but they are incredibly versatile with clean lines and a monochromatic palate, making them well suited for any style of interior from classic Mid Century to contemporary. They have been newly reupholstered in platinum velvet and are in mint restored condition. They have the original Thayer Coggin labels on the underside dating them to 1979.
