This elegant chandelier was handblown Murano, Italy- the islands off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for their superlative glass production. They feature an abundance of polyhedral shades in a subtly iridiscent and nearly opaque handblown glass in a pearly hue. They are suspended from a polished chrome frame (and circular canopy of the same material) lending them the appearance of weightlessness. This chandelier is as versatile as it is gorgeous, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. The fixture accommodates six Edison based bulbs providing up to 600 watts of light. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
