This stunning and graphic pair of modernist sconces were realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. They feature conical bodies with dramatically ribbed silhouettes that taper into banded detailing in polished brass at their mind point and an orbital embellishment at its nadir secured with a spherical brass embellishment. The semi-opaque iridescent Murano glass is replete with an abundance of 24kt white gold flecks imbuing it with a celestial sensibility. With their beautiful glass quality and clean modernist lines, these sconces would be a winning addition to any style of interior from traditional to contemporary.
