This stunning set of four "snowflake" sconces- based on one of High Style Deco's most iconic chandeliers- was realized in Murano, Italy. Representing a modern classic, these sconces were handblown on the legendary island that has been home to some of the world's most elegant and meticulously handblown glass pieces for centuries. They feature three molecularly inspired forms offering three globes each embedded with a wealth of 24kt gold flecks. The globes attach to a central brushed brass stem and are presented at staggered heights (with one crowning the stem), providing them with a verve and dynamism- also present greatest examples of Mid Century Murano lighting. The stem is connected to a rectangular backplate also in brushed brass. With their clean modernist lines and beautiful glass quality, these sconces are as versatile as they are stunning, blending with any style of interior from classic Mid Century to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. The sconces offer three G9 LED bulbs that are fully dimmable and offer more than ample light for practically any interior setting.
