This monumental pair of Torchieres are the work of Karl Springer, an American designer who studied sculpture at Syracuse University before moving to New York and becoming a mainstay of American Mid-Century Modern design . The Lucite body of these massive torchieres gives them a polished modern appearance that contrasts beautifully with their gunmetal finish. Polished Brass Fittings and rounded switches create an intriguing contrast against the gunmetal finish of the Torchiere's body. A bold statement piece that adds warmth, sophistication and an engaging focal point in a wide array of interior and movements.
