Mid-Century Murano Hand-Blown Textural Clear Glass Venini Flush Mount Chandelier
This elegant Mid-Century Murano Hand-Blown Textural Clear Glass Flush Mount Chandelier by Venini originated in Italy, circa 1960. The fixture presents a shallow square form with softly rounded corners created from a single thick panel of clear hand-blown glass that carries a rippled, wave-like texture across its surface. Light meets the textured body to yield an even, luminous glow while the undulating glass produces subtle linear highlights that animate the composition. A small circular metal disc at the center punctuates the overall composition and the perimeter finishes with a slightly irregular, organic lip that underscores the artisanal character of Murano production. The interior contains four E-14 based sockets arranged to distribute illumination evenly beneath the textured shade and the compact profile makes the piece well suited to low ceilings. Its restrained silhouette complements minimalist and modern interiors while offering a tactile focal point that rewards close viewing. The piece demonstrates Murano glassmaking vocabulary through hand-formed surface modulation and a quietly sculptural presence that reads as both functional and decorative. Excellent Condition, this piece has been rewired to US standards and offers 240 watts of light. Excellent vintage condition.
