This elegant and dramatic Mid-Century Modern chandelier was hand blown in Murano, Italy circa 1960. The chandelier offers an abundance of hand blown translucent Murano glass forms- reminiscent of stylized cala lilies- grouped in three rows. The Murano glass floral shades emanate outwards from an orbital body that attaches to the tiered conical brass finial below via a cylindrical rod in the same material. Sculptural, dramatic and refined, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. The chandelier accommodates six candelabra based bulbs offering up to 360 watts of light.
