This stunning Mid-Century Modern chandelier was realized by the esteemed atelier of Venini in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production- circa 1970. It features translucent polyhedral shades (one of the most iconic designs in Italian lighting history) arranged in a circular formation interspersed with hourglass form brass embellishments. The bottom of the chandelier is fitted with a frosted glass circular plate and secured with brass finials. With its beautiful glass quality and clean modernist lines, this chandelier would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition. The fixture accommodates 4 Edison bulbs offering up to 400 watts of light.
