This stunning pair of modernist polyhedral sconces were handblown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. They feature five vertical strands of translucent faceted polyhedral shades secured by cylindrical drum form brass fittings at the top, at staggered heights- creating a dynamic visual effect. With their clean modernist lines and neutral palate, these sconces would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. The sconces accommodate two candelabra based bulbs each offering up to 240 watts for the pair.
