This stunning Mid Century Modern wall light , circa 1960 , features a sculptural polished brass concave body pierced with sets of three perforations (arranged in a pyramidal configuration with a tiered perspex shade concealing the shades fitted with an open form circular finial. Above the shade hangs an ovoid embellishment also in polished brass. The fixture attaches to hand-rubbed walnut backplate with brass rivets via an articulating polished brass rod. With its graphic silhouette and elegant Scandinavian aesthetic, this piece promises to add more than a touch of sophistication to any style of interior regardless of the style of decor. It would be a winning addition to any interior space ranging from classic Mid Century to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition.
