This of Art Deco Handblown Murano Glass Rod and Brass Sconces were produced and signed by the fabled atelier of Venini in Italy, circa 1930. Each sconce offers seven translucent glass rods that are secured by channeled and streamlined brass supports. The frames have tiered skyscraper style detailing at top and bottom, culminating with ball finials- all in brass. With their beautiful quality of construction- by one of Italy's greatest ateliers- and clean modernist lines, these sconces would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Art Deco to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition. They accommodate two candelabra based bulbs each offering up to 240 watts for the pair. Signed "Venini Murano".
