This elegant Mid-Century Modern occasional table was designed by the illustrious T.H. Robsjohn- Gibbings for the Widdicomb Co. in the United States circa 1950. Executed in a beautiful silver ceruse, it features two tops speared by four rectangular legs. Robsjohn Gibbings had a rare gift for injecting classical forms with a modern flare, and this piece is a stunning testament to that ability. Its clean modernist lines envisioned by one of the period's greats, beautiful craftsmanship and monochromatic palate make this piece incredibly desirable for discerning collectors of the period as well as those with a penchant for exquisite objects.
