Brutalist Smoked Aquamarine Crystal Argos Table Lamps by Baldiccini Signed Daum
These stunning and graphic Mid-Century Modern brutalist Argos table lamps were realized by Baldiccini for the legendary French maker Daum ,circa 1970. Marrying the verve and sophistication of great Italian design with the quality of Daum, this pair of lamps offers a unique and inimitable aesthetic. They showcased a diversity of techniques and aesthetics, seamlessly combined including dramatic incised recesses; smooth and glossy surfaces, and rough hewn and heavily textured ones- all realized in a sumptuous smoked aquamarine hue. With its superlative glass quality and unusual (and striking) aesthetic, this pair of table lamps would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary.
