This refined pair of table lamps were handblown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. They sculptural undulating cylindrical bodies in handblown reeded Murano glass offering an elegant emerald green hue and imbued with an abundance of 24kt gold flecks that gives the glass an alluring iridescent sheen. The lamps display dramatically peaked concave bases. Ascending from the sculptural Murano bases are stacked orbital forms separated by translucent gold hourglass banding detail separating these spheres. The lamps are finished with brass fittings that perfectly complement the hue of the golden toned glass. With their clean lines, vibrant palate, and classically inspired form, these table lamps are as versatile as they are beautiful, blending perfectly with any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition.
