This sophisticated pair of modernist table lamps were hand blown in Murano, Italy, the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features three ribbed orbital forms ascending from a gently concave base with a circular bottom in handblown Murano glass in a rich turquoise hue with an abundance of 24kt yellow gold flecks throughout. Translucent bands, also with gold flecks, separate each of the spherical forms. With their vibrant palate and clean modernist lines, these lamps would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. The lamps come fitted with custom shades. They accommodate two Edison based bulbs each offering up to 200 watts of light per lamp.
