This elegant modernist alabaster and chrome flush mount chandelier was realized in France during the latter half of the 20th Century. It features a domed bullet form shade in sumptuous white alabaster displaying a particularly dramatic and high keyed veining. The shade is secured to the lustrous nickel frame by a sculptural, undulating finial in the same material. The fixture attaches to the ceiling via a circular canopy- also in polished chrome. This lighting fixture appears like a little jewel, when illuminated, with its variegated alabaster surface radiating beauty. Withi its clean modernist lines and beautiful quality of construction, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition.
