Marino Marini Untitled “From Color to Form” Series 1969

Marino Marini Untitled “From Color to Form” Series 1969

$4,975.00

This stunning lithograph, was realized by the celebrated Italian artist Marino Marini in 1969. Part of the series “From Color to Form” by Marino Marini (Italian, 1901-1980), the work offers a rider atop of a horse- the animal's head appearing captured mid rocking motion- realized in tones of lemon, turquoise, cerulean blue, chili red and persimmon- with splashes of cream and cafe au lait. With its perennially modern aesthetic and ebullient palate (executed by one of the great Italian artists of the 20th Century), this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century to contemporary. The work comes presented in custom gilded gallery frame. Signed Lower Right in Pencil, Inscribed Lower Left 23/50. The piece is Illustrated on pp. 166-167 of Marino Marini: Catalogue Raisonné of the Graphic Works (Engravings and Lithographs 1919-1980), Giorgio and Guido Guastalla, 1993. Excellent condition.
