Pair of Art Deco Brass & Frosted Glass Reverse Dome Sconces Signed Jean Perzel

Pair of Art Deco Brass & Frosted Glass Reverse Dome Sconces Signed Jean Perzel

$4,475.00

This refined pair of Art Deco brass and frosted glass reverse dome sconces were realized by the esteemed atelier of Jean Perzel in France circa 1940. They feature volumetric rectangular bodies in brass that dramatically cantilever out from the wall. The bodies have a streamlined demilune recession that supports the concave opaline glass shade. Combining austere geometries, Perzel was able to create a sconce that looks perennially modern and effortlessly chic some eighty year later. Its clean modernist lines and sophisticated color palate make these sconces as versatile as they are aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition. Accommodates 1 edison based bulb each sconce.
