This elegant pair of sconces were realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. They feature undulating cylindrical bodies in black enamel with a matching rectangular backplate and brass finishes throughout. The shades consist of handblown translucent Murano glass that are heavily channeled lending them a highly sculptural aesthetic. Marrying traditionally inspired elements with clean modernist lines, these sconces are as versatile as they are aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Art Deco to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition.
