Replete with earth tones and a stunning crème brûlée glazed ceramic, this rare uplight was realized in Germany circa 1960. It is an excellent example of the time and place. Its square body offers gentle curving contours that have a nearly topographical feeling, and a globular shade in frosted glass with a dynamic swirling pattern throughout. This uplight is as versatile as it is visually pleasing, blending seamlessly with virtually any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition.
