With its perennially modern aesthetic and ebullient palate (executed by one of the great Italian artists of the 20th Century), this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century to contemporary. The work presents a human figure- realized in a striking primary red- with his arms and legs splayed apparently trying to hold two horses who on either side of him/her. The horses- realized in tones of navy and lilac, against a turquoise backdrop- appear to be captured in mid motion, imbuing the piece with a subtle dynamism and vitality.
