Brutalist Smoked Aquamarine Crystal Argos Table Lamp by Baldiccini Signed Daum

Brutalist Smoked Aquamarine Crystal Argos Table Lamp by Baldiccini Signed Daum
This stunning and graphic Mid-Century Modern brutalist Argos table lamp was realized by Baldiccini for the legendary French maker Daum, circa 1970. Marrying the verve and sophistication of great Italian design with the quality of Daum, this lamp offers a unique and inimitable aesthetic. It showcases a diversity of techniques and aesthetics, seamlessly combined including dramatic incised recesses; smooth and glossy surfaces, and rough hewn and heavily textured ones- all realized in a sumptuous smoked aquamarine hue. With its superlative glass quality and unusual (and striking) aesthetic, this table lamp would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The lamp is signed "Daum" and comes fitted with a custom shade.
